What I learned...
In the first quarter, our topic was all on HTML. HTML is short for HyperText Markup Language. This was invented and programmed by Tim-Berners Lee. I learned the different and common codes used in making HTML. IT provides a means to describe the structure of text-based information in a document. HTML codes are usually enclosed in a "<>". And in them are codes such as, b, i, blink and etc. Next, we learned how to make flowcharts and algorithms. A flowchart is a representation of an algorithm through the use of images. While an algorithm tells the computer what specific steps to perform (in what specific order) in order to carry out a specified task. An example of an algorithm is when the user asks the computer to compute numbers. Making flowcharts and algorithms connects us to another topic called programming. At first, I had difficulty in making them but as time passed by, it became easy. In the third quarter, we discussed more on how to make programs through the help of flowcharts and algorithms. In programming, there are common terms that we need to know, such as char, int and etc. Just knowing the right codes and terms, I could create a program for computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and addition. And lastly, we discussed more on handicrafts, which are useful works formed or created by the use of our bear hands or with some simple tools. Even if they are difficult to form, I still enjoyed making them. Having the knowledge on how to make handicrafts, it's easier for us make useful things that we wish to have. Just remember, simple things can be made extraordinary. Ü

..orchids.. ☺
In making the artificial orchid, I found it difficult to connect all the parts. It was difficult because the wire that I used was thick. I even had a scratch because of twisting the wire. I learned that being patient can give you fruitful outcomes. :P
P.S Anyone interested??? Cheap but beautiful hand-made artificial orchids. Buy 1 NOW!!! XP

Spirited Away ☺
My favorite movie is a film entitle "Spirited Away". This movie was written and directed by famed animator Hayao Miyazaki. Because of its very interesting and amazing story, this movie was the very first anime film to win an Academy Award. I liked this movie because of its beautiful story and the lessons that can be learned from it.
I really like the main character of the film, which is Chihiro, because at first she was very pessimistic but as she stayed longer in the spirit world, she was able to face her fears. I can relate with her because, I too, am afraid to face my fears but I try to overcome them. Chihiro changed from being pessimistic to a hard-working and optimistic girl who has learned to care for others.
The part of the movie that struck me is, when Chihiro gave up her name to Yubaba, a witch, for her to be able to get a job so that she could remain in the spirit world and turn her parents back to their original form. It shows that she really loves her parents and that she would do anything because she loves them. There are many lessons that can be brought up in this movie. Like being hardworking and caring. When we are hardworking, nothing is impossible. And we must also care for others because there are times that the people we cared for are the ones who can only help us.

Family DAY!!!
Family day, a day where families get together and have their time for bonding with their family members and friends. Our family day in ADZU was celebrated on February 24, 2008. It started with a motorcade, wherein the students from 1st to 4th year paraded from La Purisima until they reached William H. Kreutz Campus in Tumaga. Not all of the students were able to attend the motorcade because of the bad weather. As they arrived in their destination, a mass was held at the lobby which was officiated by Fr. Antonio Moreno, SJ. After the mass, the real fun began. the program began after the mass, there were different kinds of games. And also, there were intermission numbers led by different year levels. One of those intermission numbers were performed by "PQ" or Purple Queue. They are mostly from our section. I really enjoyed watching their dance. After the program, my mom and dad went ahead. I stayed a little longer with my barkada. We talked a little and ate. It was the best Family Day I had ever experienced.

--picture--picture--frame--
to do one. I just tried my best to make it so that the outcome would be colorful.
After doing the frame, I felt satisfied that I was able to create a nice frame.
Compared to other frames, mine is cheaper and easier to do.
